How it works

You answer a few questions about the recipient: your relationship, roughly how old they are, their interests, the occasion, and your budget. From that, gift ideas are generated, each with a short note on why it might suit, plus links to search for it at Swedish retailers. If you would rather not fill in the form, there are ready-made gift guides, in Swedish, sorted by recipient and occasion.

The suggestions are AI-generated

The ideas are written by a language model from what you enter, not by an editorial team that has tested the products. Nobody pays to appear among the suggestions. It also means an idea can miss the mark, or a product can be discontinued: treat the suggestions as starting points to judge for yourself, not as recommendations we have tried.

How the site is funded

The retailer links are ordinary search links today and earn nothing. The plan is to fund the site through commission: once that is in place, presentinspo.se may earn a fee if you buy something through a link from here, at no extra cost to you. Commission never affects which gift suggestions you get: they come only from what you describe about the recipient. What it may affect is which retailer we link to when several sell the same thing.

Data and cookies

We measure usage statistics with no name or email attached, and only if you accept cookies. If you create an account we store your email address, and if you sign in with Google your name and profile picture too. If you save recipients we keep only what you entered yourself. We do not sell any data. You can remove saved recipients yourself under My account, and to delete the whole account you email us and we take care of it.
